Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering Job Description
Responsibilities include proposal writing, collaboration with faculty members and students, publication of research findings, and presenting results at conferences. The researcher will participate as a co-principal investigator or principal investigator on some of the proposals and will be encouraged to seek opportunities to initiate independent research projects. This position requires active participation in in-person research activities, fostering collaboration, and contributing to the advancement of the department's research agenda. The Assistant Research Professor will work in collaboration with Dr. Kamal Khayat, engaging in the development and execution of various research projects. Key duties include:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil and environmental engineering or related fields, with a focus on advanced construction material technologies and infrastructure. Strong communication, project management, and teamwork skills are essential for success in this role. Qualifications
A Ph.D. in Civil engineering or related field by the time of appointment and experience with concrete-related research and recent post-doc experience in this field from a leading research university in the U.S. Application Deadline
