The Position
The Department of Finance within the Tippie College of Business at the University of Iowa invites applications for one or more non-tenure track Visiting Faculty Position(s) in Finance at the level of Visiting Assistant, Associate or Full Professor starting August 19, 2026. Rank will be based on experience and record of achievement. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications. Position(s) may range from 50% time (teaching 2 classes/year) to 100% time (teaching 4 classes/year) and include a 1-year contract with benefits, with the possibility of renewal. The Finance Department is a leading center for research and education in finance. Our faculty includes 28 full-time members, with 18 tenure and tenure-track faculty, conducting a wide variety of research in asset pricing, corporate finance, banking, household finance, insurance and risk management, and real estate. We serve over 1,000 students across our undergraduate and graduate degree programs, providing a rigorous curriculum that prepares them for successful careers.
