Description * 100% onsite in Urbandale, IA and looking for candidates that can start asap * Contract roles that are needed until the end of the summer to support peak season; open to extending contracts or hiring internally based on performance and business needs. * Will work closely with Logistics Account Managers and providing customer service and administrative support. Daily Duties: * Making outbound calls, tracking and tracing loads, calling receiving locations to confirm the hours of operation, and setting appointments * Must be open to picking up the phone * Will assist with data entry, emailing, and will working closely with team members on the Operations side. * Assist with processing and building out loads in the system * Calling shippers and (primarily) receivers to confirm hours of operations and set appointments when required (noting load with specifics) * Inputting pertinent notes into loads that will be visible on carriers' load confirmations. * Tracking and tracing loads * Scheduling appts in our TMS dock scheduling tool Top Skills Details Logistics,customer service Additional Skills & Qualifications * Call Center Experience - 1+ years * Experience in an office environment * Experience making outbound/taking inbound calls * Detail oriented, Organized * Basic computer skills - Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, teams * Strong communication skills over the phone and through email Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Urbandale, IA.
