Overview
The RN Supervisor maintains accountability for daily operations and delivery of patient care through supervising, leading, and mentoring personnel in Occupational Medicine and Employee Health Services. Serves as a professional leader, role model and resource to department staff, and assists with personnel actions, staff development, evaluation and counseling/coaching. Qualifications Certifications: , Education: Bachelor's Degree, Work Experience: RN> 2yrs Clinic setting Ideally Occupational Health Leadership; is a Plus ; BLS within 30days Responsibilities Manages daily nursing, scheduling, and registration activities of Patient Care Department(s) in conjunction with Practice Coordinator and Practice Manager.Performs essential job functions of direct reports.Recommends and initiates various personnel actions including but not limited to hiring, performance appraisals, disciplinary actions, and promotions; make work assignments and review and edit work of direct reports. Ensures staff members are adequately trained and are competent to perform all required job tasks.Resolves work related issues, or assists employees in solving work related issues.Participates in development, planning and monitoring of fiscal budget(s).Assists in development and review of department policies, procedures, standing orders, and competencies.Collaborates with internal departments and outside referring entities to ensure timely scheduling of appointments. Coordinates with internal departments on annual surveillance programs. Collaborates with Practice Manager, Practice Coordinator, and department staff to set up annual influenza vaccination clinics for BroMenn and Eureka Hospital and the medical group practices. Collaborates with internal departments to ensure annual fit testing for necessary staff. Manages supplies and inventory of the department and ensures financial resources used wisely. Evaluates, disciplines, coaches, and mentors Occupational Medicine and Employee Health Services staff. Collaborates with physicians and staff to promote teamwork and efficiency within the department. Compensation and Benefits The compensation range for this position is $41per hour - $70.52per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
