DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As an Auditor Intern, you will conduct duties under the guidance of a lead Auditor and function as a contributing member of a team, completing assignments of limited scope, and communicating with the audit supervisor. You will develop a working knowledge of PLCB functions, auditing, and office techniques, and have the opportunity to travel to assigned site locations to interview staff and obtain evidence. This includes participating in interviews of PLCB staff to elicit factual information relevant to the assignment. This professional should possess an extensive working knowledge of software such as MS Excel to gather, interpret, compile, and analyze data pertinent to assignments. Work also includes performing field work audit activities to ensure that PLCB policy, designed internal controls, and laws and regulations remain in compliance. Upon completion of the audits, you will prepare and organize the required documentation in order to support distinguished findings and recommendations.

- Internship, Summer or Fall 2026
- Note: You must complete a minimum of 975 hours to successfully complete the internship.
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will be reporting to a Regional Office in Plymonth Meeting, PA or a Fine Wine and Good Spirits location in the five county Philadelphia area, with an occasional opportunity to work from home (telework). In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview..

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Current enrollment as a full-time undergraduate student in an accredited college/university in a declared bachelor's degree program and successful completion of at least sixty (60) college credits at the time of hire. Full time undergraduate students who have successfully completed at least thirty (30) college credits and anticipate the completion of at least sixty (60) college credits at the time of hire may apply for this program; or
- Current enrollment as a graduate student in an accredited college/university in a declared master's or doctorate degree program at the time of hire.
Other Requirements:
- This particular position also requires possession of a valid driver's license.
- This particular position also requires possession of at least 15 college credits in accounting.
- The selected candidate must reside in or be willing to relocate to Philadelphia, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, or Montgomery County by the time of hire.
