The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You're in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

Overview of the Role

The Finance & Strategy (F&S) team serves as a trusted advisor to the business, guiding decision-making through proactive business partner support and innovative, insightful analyses. We are looking for bright, goal-oriented individuals who will succeed in a fast-paced environment and thrive in building and improving processes that allow the company to scale with growth.
The Corporate team leads the Company's short- and long-term financial planning processes. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in shaping and executing end-to-end processes across financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role where you will interact with senior leadership on a regular basis, deliver insightful analytics that inform decision making and contribute to strategic outcomes across the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Own and support key planning processes - including annual Plan, Outlook, and Long Range Plan (LRP) - with a focus on budget target management, risk and opportunity tracking, and executive review materials

  • Build and maintain financial models and AI based dashboards to analyze performance trends, strategic spend, and investment priorities

  • Create and present ad hoc financial and scenario analyses to support strategic decision-making, including operating margin, expense trends, and key guided metrics

  • Own and deliver management reporting (e.g., monthly results, quarterly forecasts), surfacing key trends, drivers, and actionable insights for senior leadership

  • Partner proactively with Revenue, Treasury, Tax, Investor Relations, Employee Success, Accounting, and other Finance teams during key planning and earnings cycles

  • Partner across Close, Outlook, and LRP teams to operationalize real-time P&L updates in scenario models and understand flow-through on 3-statement financials

  • Identify and implement process improvement opportunities for internal reporting, forecasting, and financial systems in partnership with IT and F&S stakeholders

  • Build and maintain cross-functional relationships across the broader F&S team and support enterprise initiatives through structured analysis and project execution

Required Qualifications
  • Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the Values & Behaviors for the role (e.g., extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)

  • 3+ years of experience in FP&A, Accounting, Analytics, or Management Consulting in analytically demanding financial or strategic roles

  • Foundational FP&A experience with deep knowledge of financial statements

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to explain complex issues in an understandable way

  • Strong financial analysis, forecasting, modeling, and planning skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights

  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling in Excel and/or Google Sheets

  • Experience creating PowerPoint/Google Slides presentations for management

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with competing priorities and influence at all levels of the organization

  • Highly motivated, detail-oriented, self-aware, and responsive

  • Intellectual curiosity, fueled by a proactive approach to continuously expand one's skills

Preferred Qualifications
  • Large-scale technology, SaaS, or high-tech industry experience

  • Familiarity with financial planning tools (e.g., Adaptive Insights/Workday Adaptive Planning, Hyperion, or other multi-dimensional databases)

  • Tableau or data visualization experience

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced, matrixed environment

  • Proven track record of success with process improvements

This role is hybrid and goes into the office 3 days per week.
