The machine Lubrication Technician-Oiler/Greaser position is a member of the preventative group within our maintenance department.

Principle Accountabilities:



  • Position is responsible for equipment lubrication, contamination control, inspections and proactive maintenance activities for all lubricated mechanical systems.


Basic Qualifications:



  • Capability to read and interpret technical documents, such as: OEM Maintenance plans, blue prints, advanced lubrication technology instruction and recommendations.
  • Capable to perform basic mathematical functions for the purpose of interpreting alarms, calculating lubricant inventory and calculating re-lubrication quantity considerations.
  • Capable to operate moderately complex software and web based programs for lubrication scheduling and oil analysis functions.
  • Understanding of fundamental lubrication concerts and application of these concerts such as Viscosity, NLGI#'s V.I., AW, EP, R&O, ISO cleanliness codes, Beta Filter ratings.
  • Have a strong fundamental understanding of mechanical, hydraulic and circulating systems operation, and contamination control and maintenance functions.
  • Qualified to operate lifting equipment (fork truck, skip hoist etc.)
  • Good oral and written communications skills
  • Capable to work in an unsupervised position effectively
  • Should be qualified to perform lockout-tag-out procedures
  • Minimum of two years of lubrication-related experience.
  • Must have good interpersonal skills, good planning and organizing skills, and a high degree of self-motivation.
  • Stable work history
  • Able to work any shift.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS




  • Starting salary for position: $30.82 per hour.
  • Bonus: Annual - Based upon achievement of plant performance metrics.
  • Paid Vacation: 1 week per calendar year.
