Skilled Labor - VN (2nd Shift Fruit Operator)

Schedule: 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm Monday through Friday (Saturday and Sunday off)

For candidates based in New York State, this position starts at $26.32 per hour; plus, a $.50 shift differential for working overnights.

The job responsibilities for this position are as follows:

This job includes the proficient operation of the fruit blending system, feeding stock to fillers, and assist with sanitation of equipment, fillers, and Delkors. Candidates will be required to understand the following operational needs. They must properly set up and sanitize yogurt and fruit equipment prior to packaging. Perform and document all ATP swabs performed on equipment and fruit totes prior to use. Ensure that all blends are correct and meet all specific parameters with minimal losses. Follow the sampling matrix. Individual will be responsible for all pigging system equipment tracking and retrievals. Work directly with Machine operators, CC Blending operators, stock warehouse, and Foreman to ensure an efficient operation at all times. Assist operators with CIP connections/Cleanup of the fruit and filling equipment as required to ensure food safety. Maintain all documented information as per SQF requirements. Always keep all work areas neat and clean, to conform to GMP and SQF requirements. Understand and follow all safety procedures, always wear proper PPE, and never put yourself or other employees in harm's way. Must stay until job is completed or relieved. Must perform any other assignments by a Supervisor or Foreman. This description is not all inclusive and is subject to change.
