Job Title: Quality Contractor L2
Location: Wilmington, MA.
Employment Type: Contract (12 months)
Industry: Aerospace and Defense
Compensation: $40.00-$45.00
Schedule: 9/80 hrs/Week - 8AM-5:30PM Mon-Th Fri 8 AM-4:30PM Every other Friday off (flexible)

What You'll Do:
  • Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections to ensure products meet quality standards.
  • Document, track, and report inspection results and discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain CMM equipment to ensure operational efficiency and precision.
  • Train and support other quality personnel in CMM operation and GD&T interpretation.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
  • Adhere to company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards.
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 4 years of experience in CMM programming and operation, specifically with Calypso software.
What Sets You Apart:
  • Associates Degree
  • Strong understanding of GD&T principles and their application in quality inspection.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings and blueprints.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Certification in CMM programming or quality inspection (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Technician).
  • Experience with other metrology tools and software.
  • Background in aerospace, automotive, or precision manufacturing industries
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Interpretation of drawings
  • MS Office Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Knowledge of Keyence machines
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD models.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check.
