You will act as a trusted advisor to both consumer and business clients, delivering tailored financial solutions while driving business development and fostering a performance-driven team culture. What You Will Do As a Senior Universal Banker, you will be a cornerstone of the branch, balancing client advisory, compliance, and team mentorship. Customer Experience & Sales
- Advise: Provide personalized financial advice and recommend products that directly align with client needs and long-term goals.
- Grow Relationships: Deepen client relationships by cross-selling checking and savings accounts, CDs, IRAs, and lending or trust services.
- Business Support: Support commercial clients with essential Treasury Services, Remote Deposit Capture (RDC), courier, and armored transport services.
- Network: Represent the branch at local Westwood community and networking events to build visibility and attract new clients.
Operations & Compliance
- Account Management: Open, manage, and service consumer and business accounts in strict compliance with bank policies and regulations.
- Risk Mitigation: Maintain and enforce rigorous standards for BSA, AML, and Information Security.
- Operational Oversight: Oversee large and complex transactions, monitor daily reports, and maintain robust fraud prevention controls.
- Audit Readiness: Ensure branch security procedures, documentation, and audit readiness are consistently upheld.
Leadership & Mentorship
- Develop Staff: Mentor and support junior bankers and tellers to promote professional growth, teamwork, and service excellence.
- Strategic Partnership: Partner closely with the Branch Manager on performance goals, sales initiatives, and community outreach efforts.
- Problem Resolution: Lead by example in managing complex client needs and resolving escalated service issues with tact and diplomacy.
Who You Are
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of retail banking experience, including comprehensive teller and new account responsibilities.
- Client Expertise: Proven ability to seamlessly manage both consumer and business banking relationships.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of banking regulations, compliance standards, and branch security procedures.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills with a distinct client-first mindset.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with MS Office Suite and modern core banking systems.
- Certifications: Notary Public certification is highly preferred (or a willingness to obtain it).
