This is a strategic "Key Member" position for a new branch, the company is seeking a critical No. 2 player to drive the next stage of growth. As the market expands, your role and presence within the organization will naturally grow alongside the business. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT ARE LIMITED TO:
New Business Development: Identify and win new customers to expand the market presence.
Strategic Proposals: Create customized logistics solutions and competitive pricing for clients.
Rate Negotiation: Negotiate terms and rates with customers and carriers to ensure profitability.
Operational Coordination: Work closely with customer service and warehouse team for smooth delivery.
Market Analysis: Monitor market trends and freight rates to update sales strategies.
Performance Reporting: Provide weekly reports on sales activities and revenue forecasts to leadership.
Branch Support: Collaborate with leadership to strengthen the local brokerage operation.
Field Liaison: Visit customers, ports,and coordinate with Customs Brokers as necessary.
Troubleshooting: Solve transportation issues, such as delays or cargo claims, in a timely manner.
Client Support: Ensure high responsiveness to client requests, including after-hours support if needed.
Strategic Planning: Help develop departmental policies and manage budgets to increase revenue.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Language: Bilingual proficiency in Japanese and English. (Fluent Japanese required to manage communication with Japanese headquarters and clients).
Experience: 3+ years of experience in freight forwarding operations and/or business development.
Total Solution Mindset: A professional who understands that logistics is about solving complex business challenges, not just moving cargo.

Ownership & Reliability: An individual who takes full ownership of their work-from winning high-value accounts to ensuring the smooth delivery of every shipment.
Operational Flexibility: Willingness and flexibility to manage client needs and cargo coordination outside of regular business hours (including weekends/holidays) when necessary to ensure seamless operations.
Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
