Your Role The Vice President, Network Strategy serves as the executive leader responsible for shaping and delivering Blue Shield of California's provider network and partnership strategy across all lines of business. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Provider Partnerships & Network Management, this role operates at an enterprise level, partnering closely with senior leaders across Product, Finance, Operations, Quality, and Clinical teams to align network design, provider partnerships, payment innovation, and business outcomes. This role leads a highperforming team of strategists and providerfacing leaders accountable for network strategy, provider partnerships, and performance across the network. Responsibilities include network design and optimization, payment and incentive strategy, valuebased care models, and provider engagement, in close collaboration with Product, Contracting, and Network Operations. The Vice President is accountable for identifying and partnering with highperforming providers and building longterm, valuedriven partnerships focused on quality, affordability, and total cost of care. Success in this role requires strong executive presence, strategic agility in a matrixed environment, and the ability to lead and inspire teams to deliver results at scale. This role requires a collaborative leader with a proven ability to build, develop, and lead highperforming teams to execute strategy effectively. Hybrid This role requires employees to be in-office based on our hybrid workplace model, balancing purposeful in-person collaboration with flexibility. For most teams, this means coming into the office two days each week. Employees living more than 50 miles from an office location will work with their manager to determine in-office time based on business need. | |
