CSG markets GSAM's investment products and services to institutions, financial intermediaries and advisors. The focus is on building and maintaining long-term client relationships and communicating key themes from the firm's leading investment professionals. CSG provides investment solutions across all major asset classes (e.g., fixed income, equities and alternatives) and vehicles including mutual funds, ETFs, CITs, separate accounts and alternative investments.

This role within the Third-Party Wealth ("TPW") Alternatives Business seeks a driven, detail-oriented, and ambitious professional to drive the expansion of the strategic accounts function, as well as strategic initiatives impacting the global franchise. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in strengthening wealth and distribution partnerships, actively contributing to both the development and implementation of alternative investment solutions designed specifically for this client group. By fostering collaboration and leveraging a broad skill set, they will help shape the future of our offerings and support the ongoing growth of the TPW Alternatives business.

Based in New York, the selected candidate will be instrumental in cultivating and managing strategic partnerships. They will collaborate closely with senior relationship managers, investment teams, and marketing professionals to launch new products through our distribution partners and maintain those relationships over time. Beyond these core responsibilities, the role offers broad exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to steer a wide variety of operational and growth-focused priorities. The scope of this role extends beyond day-to-day account management. The candidate will coordinate cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, the Executive Office, Legal, Compliance, and HCM to move key projects forward. Success in this position will be defined by the ability to drive new business, deepen existing client relationships, clearly communicate strategy and outcomes, and actively lead initiatives that contribute to sustained commercial momentum for the TPW Alternatives business.

Principal Responsibilities:



  • Partner with portfolio management, product development and marketing teams to generate materials for sales campaigns
  • Coordinate firm due diligence review, on boarding and contract negotiations
  • Coordinate on site client events at Goldman's main office
  • Complete special projects and sales reporting requests for TPW management
  • Leverage internal resources to research and respond to unique firm requests
  • Drive and elevate the strategic direction of our metrics program used to measure the efficacy of our sales teams and initiatives
  • Execute on our operating initiatives for the business
  • Create and drive analyses on our competitors as well as our relative strengths and areas for improvement
  • Liaise with senior leadership across all Sales verticals to ensure we are constantly enhancing communication, prioritization, elevating issues, and prosecuting opportunities
  • Evaluate and enhance business processes to drive efficiency and risk management
  • Develop and manage annual budgeting across teams, identify opportunities to optimize spend, and evaluate ROI



Basic Qualifications



  • 3+ years of prior work experience
  • Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High degree of intellectual curiosity on the industry, our clients and our competitors
  • Collaborative team player, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong ability to multi-task, with an ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills and detail orientation
  • Advanced capabilities in PowerPoint and Excel (pivot tables)
  • Advanced capabilities in collaboration tools (e.g., OneDrive, Confluence, SharePoint, MS Teams)
  • Prior investment banking or Asset Management experience is an asset
  • Prior experience in a client-facing role



Salary Range

The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $100000-$170000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
