Job Summary:
Custodian Lead This Custodian Lead position is a team member of the Wisconsin Union -Facilities Custodian project team. Lead worker duties include assisting in training new employees, inspect progress and quality of building services. Duties also includes routine maintenance and cleaning, trash removal, snow removal, carpet cleaning, floor refinishing, pressure washing, event set up/tear down. Work is performed under the guidance of a Custodial Services Supervisor and Assistant Custodial Supervisor.
-Position will be based out of Union South but will work in all Union locations to include, but not limited to: Union South, Memorial Union, Pyle Center, Student Activity Center, U Club and the Fluno building.
Schedule:
Base hours will be Tuesday through Saturday 5am to 1:30pm but may be flexed as needed for projects or to assist other shifts.
Compensation:
$18.36 per hour
+$2.50 per hour differential, for hours worked between 6pm - 6am
+$ .80 per hour differential, for hours worked on Saturday and Sunday

Required Qualifications:
-Ability to work outside in inclement weather.
-Ability to shovel snow and ice outside in winter conditions. -Ability to conduct trash-recycling-compost gathering and disposal daily, based on needs. -Ability to Lift 50lbs. -Ability to carry 50lbs. -Ability to push 100lbs. -Ability to pull 100lbs.
