Job Location Primary Location: Johnston Hematology Oncology, 514 N Brightleaf Blvd, Smithfield, NC Secondary Location: Johnston Hematology Oncology, 2076 Veterans Parkway, Clayton NC Job Summary We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider for the Duke Cancer Network to practice at the Johnston Hematology Oncology Clinic in Smithfield, NC. The APP, who has a passion for caring for oncology patients in the community, will work with the team to provide hematology/oncology care to patients, participate in clinical trials, provide education, and collaboratively identify opportunities to improve the program. Primary hours will be Monday through Friday, day shift, with hours flexible to meet the needs of the patients; with rotational on-call responsibilities as assigned. The APP will work with attending provider/s to ensure inpatient consults are managed timely. This position is part of the Duke Cancer Network (DCN), a division of Duke Health Affiliations and Networks, which has affiliate relationships with a number of hospitals in North Carolina and beyond. Our provider and administrative team support the patient care and operations of hematology/oncology clinics at these affiliate hospitals. Job Duties & Responsibilities

Job Hours Monday-Friday, day shift, with flexibility to meet clinic needs, with a minimum of 8 four-hour clinic sessions per week. Rotational on-call responsibilities as assigned.
