We are hiring for an experienced Principal Sonographer to join our Fetal Treatment Center team in Oakland supporting advanced prenatal care. In this highly specialized role, you will perform diagnostic and procedural ultrasound examinations to support physicians during amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling (CVS), as well as provide detailed fetal anatomical imaging for expectant mothers. You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, compassionate care to patients facing complex pregnancies. In addition to clinical responsibilities, you will actively contribute to departmental quality improvement initiatives, maintain accurate quality control documentation, and ensure optimal equipment performance through routine testing and maintenance. This is a part-time position scheduled for 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
Required Qualifications
At least 5 years or more experience in a high risk obstetric ultrasound serviceRequire RDMS in OB/GYNNT certification through FMF or NTQR.This position requires flexibilityto orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations.
