From your PASSION to ours

Lactalis U.S Yogurt, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring a Maintenance Supervisor based in Casa Grande, Arizona.

The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for working with the Maintenance Manager in developing, managing and leading a world-class maintenance organization to maintain the Company's long-term competitiveness. This position requires candidates to demonstrate excellent team building, people management, and leadership skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills, including face to face, written, and presentation, and excellent external and internal functional / cross-functional communications skills. This candidate must be a proactive go getter who takes a great deal of pride in their work and treats the business as their own.

This position is a 2nd shift position and works a 12-hour rotating schedule (2-2-3)

From your EXPERTISE to ours

Key responsibilities for this position include:

  • Advance training and abilities within the maintenance staff
  • Oversee/train in electrical troubleshooting
  • Oversee major repairs and service of all production and facility equipment.
  • Project management of new production equipment and improvements
  • Siemens programming and additions to PLC processes
  • Organize service of equipment by outside vendors
  • Planning of all shutdown services to be done by maintenance staff
  • Oversee parts inventory and ordering.
  • Participate and implement plant safety procedures.
  • Responsible for 24 hour on call and scheduling personnel accordingly
  • Participate in QA improvements.
  • Reduce costs by improving a regimented PM schedule.
  • In-Depth knowledge of processing technologies
  • Coordinate with production all service work on production and process equipment.
  • Assure successful audits in the maintenance area
  • Troubleshoot and repair all failures
  • Work with production to decrease downtime
  • Work with Asst. Manager on all man-power scheduling needs
  • Implement corrective measures regarding quality improvement.
  • Work with production on all wastewater needs
  • Monitor R/O and DAF systems.
  • Work within budgetary parameters
  • Work to improve production level by improving efficiency levels.
  • Conducts and Records of Maintenance Staff per program required

SQF Requirements

  • Maintain food safety and food quality through completing job tasks and maintaining the work area in a sanitary manner.
  • Required to wear food safety/sanitation clothing.
  • This position necessitates conformance to personal hygiene regulations.
  • Report food safety problems to personal with authority to initiate action.
  • Ensure all programs are being upheld and documentation is current.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Supervises Maintenance technicians.
  • Actively participates in "on call" rotation.
Requirements

Qualified applicants will contribute the following:

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Min. 5 years' experience as Electrical Technician in Manufacturing Facility; preferably food manufacturing.
  • Prior supervisory experience.
  • Technical Diploma in Manufacturing Electrical Field desired.
  • Candidates with relevant military maintenance (2-3 years) or technical training are encouraged to apply.
