The Health Business Analyst assists the analytics team to provide insights, analysis, reports, and maintain analytical findings. They are accountable for identifying and quantifying key drivers for the Health Business, investigating areas of opportunity, evaluating effectiveness and making recommendations. What You Will Be Doing
- Analyze data and use analytical tools and techniques
- Analyze or assist in the analysis of processes and programs in achieving stated goals. Provide analyses and recommendations if corrections are needed. Investigates and discovers areas of opportunity
- Monitor and evaluate patterns, costs and trends
- Produce basic spreadsheets, documents and presentations that are well-documented and easy to follow (e.g., Excel and PowerPoint).
- Write basic SAS and/or SQL programs for data extraction. Modifies existing programs for data extraction.
- Proactively seeks training and builds knowledge/experience of tools, languages and data sources.
What We Require
- 2+ years related work experience
- Related Bachelor's degree or additional related equivalent work experience
- Experience with analytics and inferential statistics.
- Experience writing SQL or R and or Python to code or related code
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products possessing Intermediate Excel skills
- Ability to manage tasks independently, take ownership of responsibilities and meet deadlines
- Strong written and oral communication skills

- Bachelor's degree Business Analytics, Health Economics or similar program
- Master's degree in a related field

We also conduct regular annual reviews with pay for performance considerations for base pay increases. Annualized Offer/Hiring Range: $71,200 - $89,000 Annualized Salary Range: $71,200 - $115,700
Final pay will be determined with consideration of market competitiveness, internal equity, and the job-related knowledge, skills, training, and experience you bring.
