Summary

In the Contract Analyst role, the individual will apply foundational knowledge and use analytical skills in data management in support of the Contacts organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collect, analyze, and ensure accuracy of data entered into various management systems (i.e., Costpoint/Cognos/SharePoint) in support of Contracts organization.

  • Performs routine review, compilation, and analysis of data in support of preparation for dashboards and reports (i.e. KPIs) for Contract organization stakeholders.

  • Supports Information Technology (IT) department and other stakeholders with troubleshooting, system updates, and enhancements to Contract data management systems.

  • Develops, implements, and provides input for policies and procedures (including training materials) in support of revisions to data management systems.

  • Communicates with internal and external customers of the organization, which includes communication with leadership regarding matters of importance to the functional or business area. Will conduct briefings with leaders.

  • Perform contract closeout functions in coordination with various internal departments for various contract types. This includes the preparation of letters, memorandums, and other forms in support of closeout activities.

  • Prepare reports and attend meetings to provide status and analysis on progression of contract closeouts.

  • Coordinate, gather, and audit essential paperwork to ensure that all administrative, financial, and legal obligations of a contract are finalized so that a Release of Claims can be submitted to the customer.

  • Identify expired files for proper storage based on policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.

Preferred Skills

  • Preferred 1 year of DoD or Aerospace/Defense Contracts Experience.

  • Experience in problem solving through creative solutions drawing from prior experience is preferred.

  • Must be detailed oriented.

  • Must possess excellent communications skills. Effectively communicate via formal letters dealing with complicated and sensitive subjects, possess proper email skills, and possess excellent verbal communication skills.

  • Must have experience and be able to manage complex projects or processes.

  • Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Security Responsibilities

Must complywith all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures. Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form. Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval. All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources.

  • Incumbent must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.

Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.
