1st and 2nd Shift Floor Technician | Full-time | Starting pay: $17/hour

You'll help maintain a clean and welcoming environment at Southminster.



  • Clean and maintain floors, carpets, walls, windows, and metal surfaces to keep the community looking its best.
  • Remove trash, deliver soiled linens, and support event set-up and teardown.
  • Respond to spills and other cleaning needs as requested.
  • Care for assigned equipment and report repair needs for furniture, fixtures, and building items.
  • Follow safety procedures during emergencies and support assigned duties as needed.
  • Work in a way that reflects Southminster's C.A.R.E. (Centered Around Residents' Experience) First! philosophy and attendance expectations.


Minimum experience:



  • High school diploma or GED
  • Two years of floor technician experience
  • Knowledge of stripping and finishing, burnishing, scrubbing, light carpet extraction, deep carpet extraction, and upholstery extraction.


Additional experience:



  • Experience working in a senior living community


Schedule



  • 1st Shift: 7:30 a.m. - 4 p.m., occasional weekends
  • 2nd Shift: 3 p.m. - 11:30 p.m., occasional weekends
