The ideal candidate(s) will possess a strong commitment to innovation in the early childhood landscape. The candidate(s) will also have a strong track record of effective implementation of early childhood programming at both the practitioner and administrative levels. The Associate Dean of Early Childhood Education (ECE) will work with the Dean of Early Childhood Education to coordinate academic advancement activities within the School of Education associated with the Early Childhood programs, including activities related to early childhood related accreditations, participation in district-wide planning and management activities; enhance and promote the program's instructional areas, support faculty development, seek and facilitate additional school partnerships, and develop new initiatives to meet emerging needs of the greater Dallas County region. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to institutional effectiveness, program performance management, and be well versed in using data to make program and school level decisions. The complex role(s) of Associate Dean of Early Childhood Education requires a skilled individual(a) who can both serve and coordinate multiple constituencies. Our work is both internally focused on Dallas College early childhood programming as well as externally focused on community partnerships in the early childhood space. The Associate Dean(s) must maintain a solid relationship with executive leadership, administrators, faculty, staff, and students to achieve the goals of the department, School, and College, cultivating a positive work environment. They have an advanced knowledge of policies and procedures and adhere to high ethical standards when implementing process and improvements to comply with College guidelines. They also must:
