We're actively seeking a talented Senior Treasury Analyst to join our Treasury Cash Management team in Charlotte, NC. This position will work onsite Monday-Thursday and Fridays remote. This position will be required to be in alignment with Newport Beach, CA daily work schedule of 9 am - 6 pm EST.

As a Senior Treasury Analyst you'll move Pacific Life, and your career, forward by supporting the enterprise liquidity management, cash forecasting, banking operations, and treasury technology initiatives. You will fill an existing role that sits on a team of 7 people in the Treasury division. This role supports day-to-day treasury operations while providing meaningful analytical insights and requires strong attention to detail, process discipline, and the ability to collaborate across Finance, Accounting, Investments, and Operations.

How you'll help move us forward:

  • Liquidity & Cash Management: Own daily, weekly, and monthly liquidity analysis; Monitor cash positions across entities, currencies, and banks; Resolve transaction issues and inquiries with financial partners; Forecast short-term cash needs; Optimize cash concentration opportunities; Support liquidity stress testing and contingency funding plans

  • Cash Flow Forecasting & Analytics: Build and maintain rolling cash flow forecasts; Analyze forecast accuracy and explain variances; Collaborate with ALM and Treasury Capital Markets on liquidity and funding data; Partner with investment operations, accounting, and business units to improve inputs

  • Banking & Counterparty Management: Maintain relationships with banks, custodians, and payment providers; Analyze bank service utilization and fees; Support enterprise bank administrative functions; Monitor short term debt and investment exposure and concentration limits

  • Debt, Capital Markets & Funding Support: Provide back office support for debt issuance and refinancing activities; Monitor compliance with covenants, ratings triggers, and leverage metrics; Maintain debt schedules and interest expense forecasts

  • Short Term Investments and Custodial Support: Monitor short-term investment portfolios (money market, STIF, repos); Support investment operations' derivatives, cash and asset settlements with custodial banks; Use knowledge of collateral and settlement instructions to assist in the successful clearing of custodial transactions

  • Risk Management & Controls: Ensure compliance with investment guidelines, treasury policies, and internal controls; Participate in audits and regulatory exams

  • Treasury Systems & Process Improvement: Serve as a power user for the treasury workstation, payment platforms, and bank portals; Build automation for reporting and reconciliations; Improve data quality, timeliness, and transparency; Communicate business requirements for system improvements; Support system upgrades and integrations

  • Management Reporting & Executive Support: Prepare dashboards and executive-level reports; Summarize liquidity position and funding options for leadership

The experience you bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; CTP or CFA designation valued

  • 5 years in corporate treasury, finance, or banking operations.

  • Familiarity with cash forecasting, liquidity management, and banking platforms.

  • Experience with Treasury Management and ERP systems.

Base Pay Range:

The base pay range noted represents the company's good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.

$93,690.00 - $114,510.00
