As a Buyer, your goal will be to maintain relationships with suppliers and identify local suppliers for indirect materials. You will establish economic order quantities (EOQ) and shipment cadence for every component. You will understand and monitor purchasing triggers, discrete purchase orders and automated vendor schedules. You will also monitor the flow of components from suppliers to the plant to ensure optimized packaging and compliance with EOQ directives. You will do this by:
