Description This role supports a documentintensive operations team with an inoffice requirement due to handling paper documents and physical mail processes. The team manages multiple downstream loan fulfillment activities, including document preparation, redisclosure support, settlement and refund review, and shipping. This is considered an entrylevel role, and while mortgage experience is uncommon, candidates with strong office fundamentals, analytical ability, and commitment tend to be successful. Job Summary The Loan Document Operations Analyst supports paperbased loan documentation and postclosing activities. Responsibilities include preparing and packaging documents for shipment, updating loan origination systems, processing redisclosure requests, and performing analytical refund and settlement reviews. The role requires attention to detail, basic analytical skills, and comfort working in a structured office and cubicle environment. Key Responsibilities Handle and process paper loan documents in an inoffice setting Prepare, print, package, and ship letters and loan documentation Update loan origination systems accurately and timely Support Closing Disclosure (CD) review and related redisclosure requests Manage and respond to requests received through: Shared team mailboxes SharePoint queues Complete redisclosure documents and submit required requests when changes are identified Perform refund and settlement review processes, including: Reviewing refund settlement statements Comparing settlement data against the assigned Closing Disclosure Ensuring all figures tie out accurately before initiating refunds Communicate with internal partners, including: Settlement agents Other operational teams supporting mailbox and settlement workflows Maintain accuracy, organization, and productivity in a structured operations environment Experience Level Entry Level Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Des Moines, IA.
