Description

Markon is seeking an expert level Budget and Plans officer to provide budget and planning support to an IC customer's Data Office.

This is a part-time positon at 25/hrs a week.



Responsibilities

    Budget execution activities support:
    • Create, validate, and update requirements allocated to the Sponsor's spend plan
    • Track, monitor, and coordinate plans and budget activities
    • Maintain and update worksheet to track Sponsor funding requirements aligned to spending authority guidance
    • Review outstanding obligations for all Sponsor contracts
    • Create and submit funding documents (RCAFs, RCA, and Other Mission Partner funds)
    • Support for monthly group budget reviews
  • Perform contract management activities against multiple contracts and SLA requirements
    • Maintain and update master contract status report, to include funding allocations, projections, and invoices
    • Remain current on funding requirements
  • Plans activities support:
    • Contribute to and support the Sponsor's input to corporate actions and taskers


Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph
  • Experience supporting budget and plans activities for the Sponsor
  • Experience with COGNOS for reporting
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially in Excel
  • Bachelor's degree in related field or 19 total years' relevant experience, plus 16 years' relevant experience


Salary Range

USD $170,000.00 - USD $196,000.00 /Yr.

The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
