Primary Responsibilities: Serve as the designated Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) specialist responsible for implementing comprehensive energy isolation procedures across base production operations and construction activities at company facilities. Key Duties:
Execute Lock Out Tag Out procedures for multiple concurrent work activities, ensuring complete isolation of hazardous energy sources to protect personnel and equipment Apply LOTO protocols in accordance with Devon Energy's established safety procedures, standards, and regulatory compliance requirements Coordinate energy isolation activities across diverse operational scenarios, including production operations, facility maintenance, and construction projects Verify proper implementation of lockout/tagout devices and ensure all affected equipment is safely de-energized before work authorization Maintain accurate documentation and records of all LOTO activities per company protocols Collaborate with production, maintenance, and construction teams to ensure seamless integration of LOTO procedures into daily operations Conduct pre-job safety assessments to identify all potential energy sources requiring isolation Remove LOTO devices and restore equipment to operational status following established protocols and verification procedures
Core Requirement: All LOTO procedures must be performed in strict adherence to Devon Energy's safety protocols, procedures, and industry best practices to maintain zero-injury operations. Education: * High School Diploma/General Education Diploma (GED)/Higher Secondary education is required. Experience: * 2+ years of relevant experience, preferably in E&P Operations specializing in areas such as Lease Operations, Process Optimization, Equipment Operations and Repair or a related field. Industry experience is preferred.
