We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Quality Assurance Manager to champion a culture of quality excellence at our Cleveland, OH manufacturing facility. In this leadership role, you will be the driving force behind our Quality Management System (QMS). - Champion quality as a mindset, not just a process - embedding QMS principles into the everyday culture of the plant
- Maintain, evolve, and continuously improve the site's Quality Management System and certifications, ensuring requirements are fully reflected in product realization processes
- Be the site-level gatekeeper for quality Management of Change (MOC) and New Product Launches, ensuring quality is never an afterthought
Drive Customer & Supplier Excellence
- Integrate Customer Specific Requirements (CSRs) and Supplier Quality Manual requirements into the QMS, ensuring consistent and measurable compliance
- Facilitate and lead customer and supplier visits, representing the site with confidence
- Lead investigations into customer complaints, off-spec situations, and Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs) - communicating and resolving issues at the root cause, not just the surface
Performance, Data & Continuous Improvement
- Lead the measurement and reporting of site quality performance, delivering meaningful insights to stakeholders across the organization
- Promote data-driven quality improvement programs that reduce cost of non-conformance, improve yield and productivity, and reduce customer complaint rates
- Collaborate with Technical, Optima, and R&D teams to enhance first-time-right capability and accelerate innovation without compromising quality
Systems, Audits & Document Control
- Support and troubleshoot critical quality data systems including SAP, LIMS, and ETQ Reliance
- Oversee the site internal audit program - from strategic planning through hands-on execution - ensuring audit findings translate into meaningful improvements
- Maintain a document control system that keeps us aligned, compliant, and audit-ready
People Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a quality team, encouraging a culture built on accountability and continuous learning
- Deliver quality training and coaching across the site, empowering every team member to take ownership of quality in their role
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of quality management experience, preferred in automotive industry
- 3+ years of people management or supervisory experience
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification
- Certified Lead Auditor (IATF; VDA preferred)
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal)
- Demonstrated knowledge of automotive core tools (FMEA, SPC, CP, APQP)
The pay range for this position is $140,000 to $150,000 annually. #LI-Onsite PPG /PPG
