Senior Contracts Administrator - Government Contracts

Location: Lorton, VA (Remote flexibility available)

Pay: $45/hour (Temp-to-Perm Opportunity)

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to manage cradle-to-grave government contract administration in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment. This role is ideal for professionals with expertise in FAR/DFAR regulations, contract negotiation, and federal contracting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full lifecycle government contracts (T&M, FFP, Cost-Reimbursable)
• Draft and negotiate NDAs, teaming agreements, and prime contracts
• Provide post-award contract administration and compliance support
• Interpret RFP requirements and advise leadership on contractual risk
• Ensure proper flowdown of FAR/DFAR clauses to subcontracts
• Support program management, supply chain, and subcontract teams
• Handle high-volume contract actions and maintain accurate documentation
• Communicate contract issues and recommend strategic solutions

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required
• 5+ years of government contracts experience
• Strong knowledge of FAR, DFAR, and federal regulations
• Experience with proposal support, contract negotiation, and administration
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Preferred:

• Experience supporting multiple contracts and cross-functional teams
• Ability to work independently in a deadline-driven environment
