Job Description

Role Overview

Ensure the accuracy and reliability of measurement systems that support product quality and operational performance. This role leads calibration activities, maintains compliance with industry standards, and partners cross-functionally to keep equipment audit-ready and production running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate internal and external calibration activities and maintain schedules
  • Manage approved calibration vendors and support vendor selection
  • Ensure compliance with ASTM, NIST, ISO, and customer requirements
  • Maintain accurate calibration records, certifications, and documentation
  • Analyze test data and resolve measurement errors and uncertainty issues
  • Troubleshoot inspection, measuring, and test equipment
  • Assess equipment needs and recommend upgrades or replacements
  • Support calibration procedures and continuous improvement efforts
  • Coordinate equipment repairs and servicing with suppliers
  • Ensure timely calibration and removal of overdue equipment from service
  • Prepare calibration extension requests with minimal quality risk
  • Investigate and resolve calibration-related issues
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical coursework preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years in inspection, manufacturing, or quality-related roles.
  • Basic knowledge of measurement tools and inspection equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
  • Familiarity with calibration processes and quality systems; able to follow procedures and technical instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving ability.
  • Able to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with calibration systems or equipment tracking databases.
  • Familiarity withISO 17025, 9001, AS9100, or other quality standards.
  • Experience with Nadcap requirements andaudits
Additional Information

Salary Range $33- $39 hourly. Final determination will be made based on experience.
