The intern will support the St. Louis Commercial Market team with a focus on sales readiness, account management support, and market operations, while helping continue the St. Louis Commercial market launch efforts into scalable, repeatable tools for future growth.

This role is intentionally designed as a developmental pipeline opportunity for future Sales and Account Management talent, while also contributing value across adjacent functions (short-term automation opportunity, market strategy, marketing coordination, and operational readiness). Performs other duties as assigned.

Key Accountabilities



  • Sales & Account Management Enablement

    • Support organization, automation and refinement of market specific sales and account management onboarding materials
    • Shadow the sales team to observe prospecting, client meetings, and account management activities; capture learnings to inform onboarding and sales readiness materials
    • Assist with automating & documenting common broker workflows




  • Market Operations & Readiness Support

    • Assess cross functional coordination workflows between sales, marketing, operations, and network teams. Identify efficiencies within existing tools




  • Process Improvement & Automation Identification

    • Identify additional manual, repetitive, or error prone processes impacting sales, account management, or market readiness
    • Document current state workflows and propose automation or standardization opportunities




Required Qualifications




  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or related field




    Skills and Abilities



    • Relevant but not required experience includes

      • Business Administration
      • Sales, Marketing, or Account Management
      • Healthcare Administration or Health Policy
      • Operations, Strategy, or Analytics



    • Strong communication, organization, and curiosity are more important than prior healthcare experience




    This position is an Office role, which requires an employee to work onsite at our St. Louis, MO office, on average, 3 days per week.

    The full salary grade for this position is $34,100 - $43,900. While the full salary grade is provided, the typical hiring salary range for this role is expected to be between $34,100 - $38,430. Annual salary range placement will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, applicable certifications and/or licensure, the position's scope and responsibility, internal pay equity and external market salary data.
