What to Expect
We are looking for a highly skilled and technically proficient AI Infrastructure Supply Chain Manager to lead our procurement and supply chain operations for high-performance computing (HPC) systems. The ideal candidate willpossess recent expertisein HPC,demonstratedtechnical acumen,excellentcommunication skills, supplierlandscape knowledge andrelationships,experience in managing complex supply chainsandbecomfortable working in ademanding,fast paced, dynamic environment. This role requires a strategic thinker who can drive procurement processes and ensure coordination between engineering, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

What You'll Do
  • Procurement Leadership: Lead the end-to-end procurement process for HPC systems, including sourcing, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships. Ensure that all technical requirements and specifications meet or exceed Design for Manufacturing (DfM) on PCBAs
  • Technical Expertise:Leveragedeep knowledge of high-performance computing systems, including GPUs, CPUs, servers, networking, and storage technologies, to make informed procurementrecommendations. Collaborate closely with engineering teams to understand technical requirements and ensure the acquisition of the best-fit solutions
  • Project Management:Drive complex procurement projectsto meet timelines and business goals, coordinating cross-functional teams and managing key supplier relationships to ensure performance, quality, and cost efficiency
  • Risk Management: Proactively manage supply chain risks by monitoring supplier performance,identifyingalternative sourcing options, and ensuring business continuity. Leverage data analysis to uncover trends, drive improvements, and support cost-saving initiatives, while providing regular performance reports toexecutivemanagement
  • Compliance and Ethics: Ensure all procurement activities are conducted in compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Uphold the highest standards of integrity and ethical conduct in supplier interactions
  • Leadsupplier quotations as thecommercialexpert
  • Owner of RFQ/P's and contract management - ensurebid events areunbiased, submittalsappropriatelyanalyzed / leveled,contracts are negotiated, agreed,approvedand appropriately documented before business isinitiated
  • Drive negotiation for piece price and product development to ensure that Tesla's pricing meets best-landed-cost expectations as well as Supplier Industrialization standards of Best-In-Class quality

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in or relevant experience in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management or Engineering (Electrical, Computer Engineering, or a related field) with evidence of exceptional ability
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience inprogressive engineering and/orsupply chain managementroles, with a focus on AI infrastructure, high-performance computing, PCBAs, memory, storage nodes, datacenters, and indirect procurement. In-depth knowledge of supply chain processes and best practices within the technology sector
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage teams and projects under pressure
  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint
  • Excellentverbal and writtencommunication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong commercial knowledge anddemonstratedbid leveling capabilities
  • Occasional travel (up to 25%) to meet with vendors, suppliers, ortoother company locations
  • In person presence in Palo Alto or Fremont company locations

    Expected Compensation
    $88,000 - $198,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

    Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
