FOX Entertainment is looking for a Manager, Digital Content Distribution, who genuinely lives and breathes digital video, to manage their YouTube Channel. This person understands that YouTube is not just a platform, but an ecosystem where content, audience behavior, and data all work together.

You are someone who can balance creativity with analytics. You know how to spot what is working, understand why it is working, and then push it even further. At the same time, you are curious, proactive, and excited to keep learning as the platform evolves.

The Manager, Digital Content Distribution will help shape how our content shows up on YouTube, grow audiences, and create meaningful fan engagement that supports both creative goals and business outcomes. The Manager, Digital Content Distribution will also help develop and execute a strategy to grow their channels and help formulate KPIs in concert with various cross-departmental stakeholders. You should be highly collaborative and able to coordinate closely with all programming calendars, creative teams, social media team, analytics, and our YouTube agency partner.

Regular, on-site attendance at the workplace for a minimum of four (4) days per week is an essential function of the position. The selected candidate must be able to reliably meet this requirement.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of FOX Entertainment YouTube channels, including publishing, optimization, and overall channel health
  • Own content optimization across titles, thumbnails, descriptions, tags, playlists, and end screens with a strong understanding of discoverability and audience behavior
  • Partner closely with internal teams and external agencies to continuously test and improve performance across formats, including long form, clips, and Shorts
  • Use YouTube Analytics and other tools to surface insights, identify trends, and inform both creative and strategic decisions
  • Support the development of content strategies by translating data into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Maintain and evolve publishing calendars, ensuring alignment across programming, marketing, and social teams
  • Collaborate with producers, editors, and creative teams to ensure content is delivered and packaged in a way that maximizes performance
  • Monitor audience sentiment and engagement, identifying opportunities to deepen fan connection and improve content strategy
  • Regularly report on channel performance, highlighting wins, learnings, and opportunities for growth to both creative and business stakeholders
  • Help define and track KPIs, ensuring channel goals are aligned with broader company objectives
  • Stay on top of platform updates, emerging trends, and best practices to keep FOX channels competitive and innovative
  • Work cross-functionally with teams, including social, analytics, programming, and rights management to ensure seamless execution and compliance

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • 2+ years of experience working in digital media, preferably managing YouTube channels for a publisher, studio, or agency
  • Experience working with YouTube Studio and analytics tools, with the ability to turn data into insights and action
  • Experience writing engaging video titles, descriptions, and social copy with an understanding of SEO principles
  • Strong understanding of YouTube as a platform, including algorithms, audience development, and content optimization best practices
  • Strong communication skills and ability to present insights clearly to both creative and business stakeholders
  • Comfortable balancing creative instincts with performance data when making decisions
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment without losing attention to detail
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams and build strong relationships
  • Proactive and curious attitude with a desire to learn, experiment, and grow within the role
  • Genuine passion for digital content, entertainment, and evolving audience behavior on platforms like YouTube

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $73,000.00-90,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
