Overview We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide handson and remote support for an enterprise Windows environment supporting 300+ users. This role requires strong Windows troubleshooting skills, experience supporting peripheral devices, solid Active Directory knowledge, and a customerfirst mindset. Key Responsibilities * Provide daytoday desktop and enduser support in a Windows 10 enterprise environment, including imaging, device setup, configuration, and break/fix troubleshooting * Support and manage peripheral devices such as printers, mobile devices, and other workplace hardware, ensuring proper configuration and connectivity * Troubleshoot user issues related to operating systems, applications, hardware, and connectivity in a timely and professional manner * Perform user account management tasks in Active Directory, including account creation, password resets, group membership changes, and access troubleshooting * Deliver highquality customer service by communicating clearly with end users, setting expectations, and following through to resolution * Document incidents, resolutions, and procedures to maintain accurate support records and improve service efficiency Required Skills & Experience * Strong Windows 10 desktop support experience, including imaging, setup, and enterpriselevel troubleshooting * Proven experience supporting peripheral devices such as printers and mobile devices * Solid working knowledge of Active Directory (required) * Experience supporting users in an environment of 300+ end users * Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills * Ability to troubleshoot independently while knowing when to escalate issues Preferred Qualifications * Experience in a corporate or enterprise IT environment * Familiarity with remote support tools and ticketing systems * Exposure to Windows 11 support environments Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Chapel Hill, NC. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
