Job Posting: Data Center Technician Company: Vision Technologies, LLC Location: Northern Virginia (Ashburn, Sterling, Chantilly, Manassas) Start Date: MidMay Project Type: LargeScale Data Center Deployment Overview Vision Technologies, LLC is supporting a large-scale data center project in Northern Virginia and is seeking motivated, safetyfocused technicians to join our team. This project involves extensive fiber installation and data center infrastructure work within active data center environments. We are looking for proactive, teamoriented individuals who are mechanically inclined, safetyconscious, and take pride in quality work. This role is ideal for candidates who can work independently, follow direction, and contribute positively to a fastpaced team environment. Key Responsibilities * Pull and route fiber throughout the data center * Assemble, stack, and drill equipment racks * Scan, label, and port equipment * Support general installation and infrastructure tasks as directed * Adhere to all safety procedures and site requirements Required Qualifications & Attributes * Experience working in physically demanding environments (construction, skilled trades, military, or similar) * Strong work ethic and positive attitude * Reliable attendance and punctuality * Handson electrical or military experience is highly valued * Ability to work on ladders and lifts * Comfort working in structured data center environments * Teamfocused mindset with strong attention to detail Project Details * Scope of Work: Fiber installation, porting, labeling, and testing/troubleshooting (Fluke/OTDR); no fiber splicing required * Environment: Active largescale data centers * Timeline: Project start planned for midMay following site readiness and material availability Hiring Process Candidates will participate in a working interview, providing an opportunity to demonstrate technical ability, work ethic, and teamwork on site prior to final onboarding.
