Plan, direct, develop and coordinate activities of the Business Office to ensure attainment of corporate goals and objectives. Coordinate directly with the Director and Chief Financial Officer to achieve the goals of the organization.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the billing and collection of insurance and self-pay accounts for 300+ physicians.
  • Establish and maintain an effective team environment and give administrative direction of assigned management staff
  • Development and implementation of organizational standards, policies and procedures, mission and values
  • Facilitate organizational profitability
  • Maintain open, effective communications within the management team, staff, physicians and patients
  • Responsible for providing insightful analysis and reports to administration on an as needed basis, but at least monthly
  • Exhibit good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Maturity to withstand pressure that may arise in relation to the public, physician or administration while displaying flexibility and adapting to changing conditions

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in medical billing with 5+ years of supervisory experience in designated field
  • Extensive computer billing experience
  • Knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT coding and third-party requirements
  • Working knowledge of state and federal regulations as they relate to compliance and reimbursement
  • Solid organizational skills, excellent interpersonal and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified coder
  • 10+ years experience in designated supervision field with 8+ years of supervision responsibilities
  • Billing knowledge of IDX software and PCS systems
  • Managed care or practice operations background
  • Direct management of 25+ employees/staff

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $72,800 to $130,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
