The Practice Manager / Project Administrator, Palliative Medicine reports to the Senior Administrative Manager and provides comprehensive administrative, operational, and programmatic support to the Palliative Medicine team. This role oversees key practice operations, including supervision of support staff, management of inpatient and outpatient provider scheduling, compliance oversight, implementation of new initiatives, program support, data analytics, and other assigned responsibilities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with clinical and administrative leadership to support development and execution of Palliative Medicine initiatives and programs.
  • Lead implementation and project management of departmental initiatives and operational improvements.
  • Oversee provider scheduling, clinic template optimization, and ambulatory/inpatient scheduling workflows.
  • Monitor clinical operations metrics, including productivity, access, utilization, and scheduling performance.
  • Provide reporting and data analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Assist with budget planning and program financial oversight.
  • Supervise administrative support staff, including Medical Office Coordinators and Patient Service Coordinators.
  • Support staff training, workflow optimization, and performance management.
  • Ensure compliance with billing, scheduling, and operational best practices.
  • Serve as liaison with internal stakeholders including Patient Relations, Billing, Patient Access, and departmental leadership.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of related administrative/operational experience required.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
