Reporting to the AIOR Portfolio Manager, this role supports system-wide strategic initiatives focused on patient safety, quality improvement, workforce support, teamwork, and organizational culture across Johns Hopkins Medicine.

This position helps design, implement, and evaluate programs that improve care delivery, staff experience, and patient outcomes, while serving as a key partner to leaders and teams across the health system.

Key Responsibilities



  • Support the development and execution of strategic, multi-year improvement goals
  • Provide operational and program support for initiatives including:


    • RISE
    • CUSP
    • TeamSTEPPS
    • Safety Culture
    • Just Culture
    • Community Resiliency Model (CRM)
    • Internal Strategic Partnerships (ISP)


  • Lead or support trainings, team onboarding, project tracking, and improvement activities
  • Partner with clinical and operational teams to improve quality, safety, teamwork, and communication
  • Assist with data collection, metric development, analysis, reporting, and program evaluation
  • Facilitate meetings, support cross-functional collaboration, and help drive projects from design through completion
  • Contribute subject matter expertise in organizational culture, improvement methods, and team effectiveness


Qualifications



  • Master's degree in healthcare, clinical, operational, organizational, or related field required
  • 5+ years of progressive operational experience required
  • Clinical background preferred, but not required



Skills & Experience



  • Strong knowledge of quality improvement, organizational culture, teamwork, and change management
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, analytical, and project management skills
  • Experience with data analysis, performance metrics, and improvement strategies
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and standard desktop applications
