We are looking for a Sales Support Engineer to join Temperature+System Products, USA in Greenwood, IN to work with a dynamic team and deliver world-class temperature products. Endress+Hauser Temperature+System Products is one of the leading global suppliers of temperature measurement, temperature engineered solutions and system products.

What is the role about?

In this role, you'll serve as a key technical partner to Sales Development Managers, Sales Centers and customers - supporting the full acquisition process from technical clarification through quotation, configuration and execution. If you are an engineering professional who enjoys customer challenges, collaboration across teams and supporting innovative measurement solutions, then this role may be a perfect fit for you.

Which tasks will you perform?

You will:

  • Provide technical expertise throughougt the customer aquisition process, reviewing specifications and ensuring alignment with product and manufacturing standards
  • Respond to customer and internal inquiries related to product design, application and process fit
  • Analyze customer requirements to determine standard vs. special product needs and collaborate with production and operations on fesability
  • Configure products, modify designs, create schematics and drawings, develop time/cost estimates and formal quotations
  • Support product testing requirements, calculations and compliance with industry and customer standards
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, purchasing, quality and production to identify materials and qualified vendors
  • Contribute to product industrialization, innovation projects and sales tool development
  • Write, edit and audit technical documentation, instructions and product literature
  • Serve as a technical trainer for sales and marketing teams and promote products through on-site visits and virutal engagements
  • Utilize CAD tools (e.g. CREO) to develop custom parts and application-specific solutions

What do we expect from you?

You have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology (Mechanical preferred)
  • 1-3 years of experience in process automation, engineering design or related field
  • Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills
  • Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy and efficiency
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in an international, cross-functional environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
