Senior Acquisition Program Systems Engineer Job Locations

Position Summary Odyssey has an excited opportunity for an experienced Senior Acquisition Program Systems Engineer to support the full life cycle of air armament and conventional munitions systems, including missiles, bombs, warheads, seekers/sensors, countermeasures, training systems, radars, explosive devices, and related support equipment. This work spans requirements analysis through disposal and includes support to international programs and FMS.
Responsibilities Duties include, but not limited to: * Provide engineering and technical expertise across all acquisition phases: requirements definition, design, integration, verification/validation, deployment, and sustainment
* Develop and maintain engineering documentation such as Systems Engineering Plans, technical reviews, audits, and interchange meeting materials (e.g., CDR, TIMs) * Conduct trade studies on performance, cost, producibility, maintainability, and risk; support simulation studies and system effectiveness modeling * Perform proposal and modification evaluations for technical feasibility and cost effectiveness * Support developmental planning, AoAs, mission needs analysis, sensitivity and uncertainty analysis, and system comparison studies per DoD 5000-series guidance * Provide engineering assessments for training systems, simulators, integration requirements, and system readiness reviews * Support source selection activities in a nondecisionmaking advisory role, including documentation development and proposal reviews * Produce technical trade studies, integration documentation, and munitions-related engineering products; support risk management and milestone review preparation * Deliver systems engineering support for program oversight, configuration management, requirements management, and interface management; utilize tools such as DOORS * Provide program engineering support for evaluations, testing, portfolio reviews, and recommendations to improve system performance and compliance with specifications Qualifications Minimum Required Qualifications Citizenship: Must be a US citizen Clearance: Top Secret Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in related disipline + 15 years relevant experience; or Master's degree + 10 years of relevant experience; or PhD+ 5 year of relevant experience
