Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor entry points, verify badges and credentials, and help to support a professional, welcoming environment. You will use communication and technology to document activity, assist visitors and employees, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents while delivering service with agility, reliability, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to all visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, credential checks, and other security-related policies at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points for people, vehicles, and deliveries, verify authorization for site access, and document arrivals, departures, and unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, gate areas, trailer yards, loading zones, and perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Help to deter unauthorized access, trespassing, and policy violations by maintaining a visible presence and reporting security-related concerns in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
