Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a utilities location, where you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $16.00 - $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents, service calls, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to support site personnel and visitors.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, check credentials when required, and document observations, incidents, and/or suspicious conditions according to site guidelines.
• Communicate with supervisors, site contacts, and/or local responders as needed regarding incidents, hazards, maintenance issues, and other security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be 21+ years of age.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
