As a Security Officer Patrol Access Coordinator in Chicago, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support access awareness, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. In this role, you will deliver strong customer service and communication while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity in every interaction.

Pay Rate: $22.74 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or students by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related activities throughout the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to the appropriate personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, lobbies, and common areas, verify access as directed, and document security-related events, observations, and/or incidents according to site protocols.
• Assist with emergency response activities, provide directions and information to the public, and support a professional atmosphere within a healthcare-focused environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
