Rutgers School of Health Professions (
SHP) is seeking a Temporary Research Assistant to work in the Department of Health Informatics.
The Temporary Research Assistant will support ongoing research projects by assisting patient recruitment, data management, and research operations. Responsibilities may include communication with Rutgers
IRB and protocol submission, support participant interview and scheduling, assist with data collection, reporting and quality control, and collaborate with investigators and study staff in the lab. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a part-time capacity while adhering to research protocols and institutional guidelines.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
- Assist in the development and renewal of IRB protocols.
- Assist in IRB modification.
- Assist in data collection, data cleaning and data analysis.
- Schedule and recruit participants and conduct screening.
- Conduct literature searches as assigned.
- Assist in preparation of research abstracts and manuscript drafts, revisions, and submission in collaboration with the PI and graduate students.
- Assist in preparation of posters and/or oral presentations as required in collaboration with the PI and graduate students.

Qualifications
| Minimum Education and Experience |
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in relevant science field.
- Six (6) months of clinical research experience.
