Job Title: Assembler
Location: Londonderry, NH
Employment Type: Temp to Perm (12 months)
Industry: Aerospace and Defense
Compensation: $23.00 /hr.
Schedule: 4/10 hrs/Week. - (2 nd shift)
About the Opportunity:
  • Assembles mechanical, optical, or electrical components and subassemblies following specified work instructions and procedures to ensure the finished product meets established operational, quality, and cosmetic requirements.
  • Assembles parts primarily using soldering techniques, makes setups and adjustments, holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.
  • Continuously performs visual inspections of materials for defects and conducts a range of functional tests and cleaning at prescribed intervals to ensure proper operation of various components during assembly.
  • Reports deviations from standard to the appropriate resource for review, instruction, and authorization, and conducts quality inspection at specified intervals.

Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 4+ years of experience in mechanical, electrical, or optical assembly.
What Sets You Apart:
  • Associate Degree.
  • Able to follow and comply with documents such as work instructions, safety rules, and operating and maintenance instructions.
  • Ability to complete assembly of complex, small assemblies with a high level of quality and efficiency.
  • Applies basic math skills to add and subtract two-digit numbers.
  • Ability to perform these operations using units of weight, measurement, volume, and distance
  • Ability to work with RTV, epoxy, and other bonds/adhesives.
  • Demonstrates ethical and professional behaviour in accordance with company values.
  • Current or recent IPC J-STD-001 Solder certification required with entry-level soldering.
  • Good communication skills.

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check.
