ABOUT THE JOB:
The Senior Real Estate Analyst supports the real estate, operations and finance teams with financial analysis, reporting, and data-driven insights supporting its real estate portfolio. This role partners closely with real estate leadership, operations and finance teams by executing complex analytical workstreams, coordinating inputs across teams, and delivering consistent, high-quality outputs that inform overall portfolio decision making. This role supports the long-term portfolio strategy, lease actions, and capital initiative processes by preparing standardized financial models, maintaining reporting tools, and ensuring operational and real estate data accuracy throughout the real estate lifecycle. This role blends data analysis, stakeholder engagement, project management, and business case development to drive operational excellence and portfolio strategy. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about transforming complex data into actionable insights.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Formalize operational demand forecasts into detailed real estate requirements for expansion, consolidation, capital expenditures and sequencing prioritization
- Partner with cross-functional teams to forecast space needs based on business projections, operational standards and space requirements
- Build and maintain standardized real estate models to generate data-driven forecasts for both short and long-term network optimization strategic planning
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of portfolio data, ensuring high integrity in the real estate database, supply/demand metrics, KPIs, and market demographics
- Analyze portfolio performance to identify risks, opportunities, and cost reduction options
- Support the site evaluation and market prioritization process through due diligence, demographic research, and competitive and operational data analysis
- Develop business case scenario and sensitivity analyses in collaboration with real estate, operations and corporate finance leadership
- Produce recurring and ad hoc reports providing visibility into development, lease activity, and capital deployment
- Assist with planning and execution of real estate related projects by tracking critical action items, deadlines, and deliverables
- Develop dashboards, reporting packages, and executive level presentations
- Ensure data accuracy by analyzing and identifying data inconsistencies
- Maintain required GIS datasets that support organizational strategy
- Lead the real estate budget and forecast process
- Manage the monthly rent payment process
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Real Estate, or related analytical field
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a financial analyst preferably in commercial real estate, investments, or asset management
- Must have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software products, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and Projects. Advanced Excel modeling (DCF, IRR, NPV, waterfalls sensitives) experience preferred
- Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar visualization tools
- Experience with ARGUS Enterprise for cash flow and valuation modeling preferred
- Scenario and stress testing experience preferred
- Strategic thinker with intellectual curiosity and ability to collaborate effectively across diverse stakeholder groups, including senior leadership
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-driven, with the ability to independently manage workflow and deadlines
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex data and communicate associated insights to non-technical stakeholders
- Understanding of basic real estate contract terms and strategy
- Proficiency with accounting fundamentals and financial analysis
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
