Job Title: QC Lab Technician

Supervisor/Manager: The position reports to the QC Supervisor

Summary: Briefly state the primary purpose of this position.

Perform analytical testing on raw materials, intermediate, and finished materials based on the specification and inspection plan developed for each individual product. Inspection of the products are to be conducted in a manner consistent with the guidelines and specifications of each customer with regards to safety, quality, and legality.

Key Responsibilities: The critical responsibilities for this position. Any responsibilities which are less than 5% of the job are not included.

  • Raw materials, intermediate and finished product testing

  • Samples collection and booking in Results entry into the system (SAP)

  • Identify/recognize inspection errors and initiate resolution.

* Perform daily verification of the equipment. Perform minor maintenance on test equipment as assigned.

* Ensure all retained samples are identified and properly stored.

* Use the computerized inventory management system and Microsoft Excel for the input and retrieval of data for all products within the Carrollton Organization.

  • Following Standard Operating Procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Documentation Practices and adhering to all Health and Safety requirements

Education, Certifications, Qualifications, Training.

Associate's degree in chemistry, biology or a related field from an accredited college university or High-School Diploma and 1-3 years of relevant experience in analytical laboratory. Technical degree and/or experience is a sufficient replacement for educational degree.

  • English fluency

  • GLP and GMP

  • Computer skills (SAP, Microsoft Office, etc.)

  • Knowledge and experience in Quality Control

  • SAP advanced knowledge QM module

  • Decision making based on test result

  • Basic math, science, and quality terminology

General physical demands - lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling - 25kg~50kg.
