The University of Virginia's number one ranked Department of Student Health and Wellness (SHW) provides a comprehensive range of medical, mental health, well-being, and disability support services to all enrolled undergraduate and graduate students. The University of Virginia's Student Disability Access Center, a unit within the Department of Student Health and Wellness, is seeking an Accommodated Exam Associate. The Accommodated Exam Associate coordinates scheduling and administration of accommodated academic exams to students with disabilities with approved accommodations. This position will work closely with the Associate Directors and the Accommodated Exam Specialist. Responsibilities include:

About the Position This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs. The anticipated hiring range for this position is $24-25/hour, commensurate with qualifications and experience. This is a nine month, full-time, 40 hours/week, benefits-eligible position with UVA benefits.The selected candidate will pass a background check and drug screen. This position will not sponsor applicants for work visas now or in the future. Please note that this position will need to take unpaid leave during the three summer months each year, roughly mid-May to mid-August. Additionally, any employee medical insurance premiums will need to be paid in arrears upon return to work. Additionally, this employee will not accrue state VRS service credit while on unpaid leave.
