Job Description

  • This position can be located in our New York, NY, Washington, DC or Chicago, IL office.

JOB SUMMARY

The AI Adoption Manager plays a key role in advancing the firm's innovation strategy by helping attorneys and staff discover, test, and adopt generative AI tools that enhance the way legal work gets done. This job will focus on LLM platforms (e.g. Harvey, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT). This position combines curiosity, collaboration, and problemsolving to identify impactful use cases, benchmark tools, and translate insights into firmwide training and best practices. The role reports to the Innovation Manager and works closely with partners, legal professionals, and administrative teams across the firm.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*

  • Identify and Develop AI Use Cases
    Partner with attorneys and administrative teams to uncover practical opportunities for applying LLM platforms to enhance efficiency, quality, and client service. Evaluate and benchmark different tools, prompts, and workflows.
  • Hands-On Experimentation and Testing
    Actively explore, test, and document how various AI platforms perform across legal and administrative tasks. Translate findings into actionable recommendations, balancing innovation with ethical, security, and professional considerations.
  • Training and Enablement
    Design and deliver engaging training sessions, workshops, and reference materials that help attorneys and staff use AI tools effectively and responsibly. Promote a culture of experimentation and improvement across the firm.
  • Feedback, Measurement, and Continuous Improvement
    Track adoption patterns and user feedback to improve training and shape future initiatives.
  • Share lessons learned with the Innovation Department and firm leadership to inform broader technology strategy.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor internal user metrics to surface trends and emerging needs.
  • Evaluate existing tools to assess their value for internal users.
  • Help evaluate potential new tools and services.
  • Collaborate with the external support, sales, and product development teams to share internal end-user insights and identify areas for improvement or innovation.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
  • Effective interpersonal skills including the ability to build trust with people at all levels inside the firm from senior partners to junior admin staff.
  • Comfort juggling multiple projects and adapting quickly to new priorities.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle challenging and variable internal end-user situations with creativity, professionalism and empathy.
  • Curious and proactive in seeking new information, perspectives, and solutions.
  • Knowledge of Legal terminology and workflows preferred.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and drive projects to completion within deadlines.

Education:

  • A bachelor's degree or comparable work experience is required.

Experience:

  • 6-7 years of experience required in process optimization, business analysis, and a demonstrated ability to leverage technology to improve efficiency and outcomes.
  • 1-2 years of experience using GenAI to improve process and business outcomes.
  • Previous experience in a law firm preferred.
  • Previous experience in a legal technology or legal services company preferred.

This is an exempt position.

The anticipated good-faith base salary range for this position is:

  • Washington, DC : $135,892 to $186,851 per year.

Your exact offer will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, your experience, skills, and overall qualifications. We also review compensation regularly against industry benchmarks and performance outcomes, so you can grow your career here with confidence-knowing your pay recognizes both your impact and our commitment to an equitable approach.

In addition to a competitive base salary, certain positions are eligible for a comprehensive performance-based bonus, payable monthly or annually.
