About The Role
Summary The overall responsibilities of the Benefit Enrollment Specialist is to oversee the life cycle of benefit enrollment for all new hires, qualifying life event, status changes and benefit termination processes. This includes working with vendor software to track new hire enrollment, tracking new benefit eligible statuses, answering employee questions related to benefit and enrollment process, submitting tracking reports to Bank Divisions as needed, and accurately terminating employee benefits as necessary. Will be responsible for communicating with Bank HR Division and individual employees on their enrollment status on a regular basis. Will be responsible for monitoring the electronic mailbox for the benefit department and will serve as the primary point of contact for 1st tier benefit inquiries. Will assist the department with benefit invoices for vendors and bank divisions. Will provide support to the Corporate HR Department with other projects as assigned. Will provide administrative/back-up support within the Benefits Department which may include workers' compensation and leave of absence communication as needed. This position will report to the Benefits Administrator and will assist that role with additional duties.. This is a Corporate position that is located in Kalispell, MT. The entry rate for this position is $24.99 + / per hour (calculated for Kalispell, MT). - Monitors and tracks all New Hire benefit enrollment. This includes answering benefit and enrollment questions from HR Division and Employees, sending reminders on the deadline to enroll, and tracking and sending reports as often as needed.
- Monitors the electronic mailbox for the benefit department and acts as the primary point of contact for 1st tier benefit inquiries.
- Completes the manual termination of benefits in the payroll system that are not managed through third party software.
- Tracks all employee status changes and communicates with HR Division or employee on steps needed to complete enrollment.
- Runs and distributes reports as needed for tracking and validation purposes.
- Completes monthly vendors benefit invoices and submits for payment.
- Must comply with all company policies and procedures and all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control. Must complete the assigned online training courses and achieve a passing score by due date.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Starting salary is dependent upon relevant experience and may vary based on the geographic location of the position.
