Part-Time | Resident Assistant

Schedule:

Positions available include working every other weekend and every other holiday

Available Shifts:

1. 7:00am - 3:00pm
2. 11:00pm - 7:00am

The Difference You'll Make

1. Provide hands-on care and support to residents in accordance with individualized care plans
2. Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
3. Safely transfer and reposition residents using appropriate techniques and equipment (gait belts, mechanical lifts, etc.)
4. Monitor and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff in a timely manner
5. Respond promptly to call lights, phone inquiries, and in-person requests
6. Support residents with dignity, respect, and compassion at all times
7. Promote a positive, calm, and supportive environment for residents, families, and team members
8. Collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, person-centered care delivery

Experience Required:

1. Previous caregiving experience, preferably working with residents in memory care

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

1. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
2. Ability to work independently and accurately complete assigned tasks
3. Demonstrated good judgment, integrity, and respect for others
4. Awareness of and sensitivity to residents' cognitive, emotional, and physical needs
5. Strong commitment to compassionate, resident-centered customer service
6. Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including assisting with resident transfers (50+ lbs.)
